SHIPPING FARES RAISED
PASSENERS FROM AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Rec. 12.30 a.m. Sydney, Nov. 0. Shipping agents as a result of a conference announce an increase of seven and a-half per cent, in passenger fares between Australian ports and England in the form of a surcharge to compensate for adverse exchange. The increase will not apply to passages booked before November 21.
