DISPUTE ENDS IN DEATH.
FARMER AND WORKER SHOT DEAD.
TRAGEDY ON GIPSLAND FARM. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 10.30 p.m. Melbourne, Oct. 22. A dispute between a farmer , named Thomas Ross, aged 40, of '.Meeniyan (Gipsland), and his' farm-hand, Charles Wells, aged 39, ended with.'.their deaths by gunshot. Mrs. Ross informed the police that Wells entered; .the kitchen with a gun. Ross sprang at him and she rushed, out with 'hi child. Subsequently Ross was found 'dead in one of the rooms and Wells in another with the top of his head blown off and the gun beside the body.
