An eig'ht-years-oiJ girl, Jean Williamson, received a fracture of the skull and of one leg at-about 5:30 p.m. yesterday, when She* was knocked down by a car being driven up Carrington Road, New Plymouth. -The injured girl was apparently running across the road in company with a younger girl named Ruby Fraser when th'c accident happened.
