A SMALL GIRL INJURED
COLLISION WITH LIGhT CAR. CARRINGTON ROAD ACCIDENT. An eig'ht-years-oiJ girl, Jean Williamson, received a fracture of the skull and of one leg at-about 5:30 p.m. yesterday, when She* was knocked down by a car being driven up Carrington Road, New Plymouth. -The injured girl was apparently running across the road in company with a younger girl named Ruby Fraser when th'c accident happened. The youiigerj girl was not hurt. The light car which struck- the. child was driven ,by Mr. R. Chatterton and was going up the hill from the town; The accident happened just after Mr. Chatterton had passed another car. The children apparently collided with the side of, Mr. Chatterton’s car and were thrown' to the ground. " / , ' ‘ . The parents of the injured child arts Mr. and Mrs. J. G.
