Mr. William Holines, Los Angeles, California, who is to give a series of lectures on psychology in New Plymouth, is well known as a writer and teacher of practical psychology and mental science. In these lectures he shows how science has proved the existence of the laws which he tells the people how to use. In clear, lucid arid simple language he conveys his message to his audiences, so that all can understand and learn how to apply those laws to improve their conditions, remove the cause of disease and bodily ailments, how to win success in life, and attain to that happiness which is the birthright of every human soul. Many years of practical application of these laws qualifies Mr. Holmes to speak with conviction and with a sure knowledge that if his hearers will only apply his teachings in their own lives they will have happier homes,. better health and more successfid businesses. The first lecture of the series, entitled “The Powers of the Human Mind,’ will be given in tile Workers’ Social Hall on Monday evening at 8 o'clock. —
