OUTBREAK AT KAKAHI TOWNSHIP. By Telegraph.’—Press Association. Taumarunui. October 16. J. Whittaker’s general store and dwelling, a bicycle shop and an empty adjoining shop at Kakahi were destroyed by fire. Whittaker’s store was insured in tho. National Insurance for £750, tho stock in the Phoenix for £5OO and the furniture in the same office for £2OO. The empty shop was Owried by W. Hartley and insured in the State Office for £lOO.
