Miss Elwyn Riley, whose pupils gave the second performance of “Cinderella” last evening, wishes to thank the many friends and parents for their assistance and co-operation.
Mr. William Holmes, Los Angeles, California, a >yell known writer and lecturer on psychology and mental science, is due shortly in New Plymouth to deliver a series of lectures on science of the mind.

The New Plymouth Beautifying Society will resume work on Baines I’eirace to-morrow afternoon.
Music at the Westown school danee oi. Wednesday was arranged by Mr. Martini and Miss V. Ross. Mr. Martini provided a wireless set and Miss Ross helped the teachers playing for the children’s dances.
