CHARGES IN NEW PLYMOUTH. There was a short sitting of the Polite Court in New Plymouth yesterday morn, ing before Mr. R. W. Tate, S.M. Ronald William John Clark was fined £2, and costs 10s., for cutting the corner of Devon and Liardet Streets on October 7. Jack Fetzer admitted failing to give way to. traffic on his right when he was driving his car from Watson Street into Devon Street on September 20, and failing to extend his right arm indicating a turn. Senior-Sergeant McCrorie said Fetzer had collided with a car driven by Roy Eric Eaton, who pleaded not guilty to a charge of approaching an intersection at a greater speed than 15 miles an hour. • The magistrate adjourned the hearing of the case, against Eaton for a week and said he would then fix the fine for Fetzer,
