EAST END SURF CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS jy ■ The annual meeting of the East End, Surf Club was held last evening in the pavilion, Mr. Ainsworth presiding pyer. a very good attendance of member!. The report and balance-sheet, previously published, were adopted. ' The election of officers resulted: — .Patron, Mr. G. Grey;, Mr." F. Coleman; vice-presidents’, Messrs’ Pi J. \ Flannagan, A. Milne, A. Neale and E. i'.’J Burkitt; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr.' Sims; club captain, -Mr.'/Hogarth; club vice-captain, Miss B. Coleman; honorary auditor, Mr. T. G. Sole; executive committee, Miss B. Henderson, Messrs Remington, E. Burkitt, Berg, . Ainsworth and E. Henderson; delegates to Taranaki Head Life-Saving Centre, Messrs P. J. Flannagan and Ainsworth;-; -■■■' delegate to Taranaki Head Swimming' Centre,. Mr. Berg. It was decided to send a team to Auckland to compete for the Wigram ■Shield.
