BURGLARS TAKE £38 CASH
INVERCARGILL GARAGE LOSS. Ey Telegraph.—Press Association. Invercargill, Sept. -5. Hew ton’s motor garage was broken into during the night, an entrance being effected through a lavatory window. The burglars removed the safe from the office to the workshop and cut off the hinges, securing £3B in cash. A cash-box containing £l2 was removed from the safe, but apparently forgotten by the intruders.
