CRIME OF GISBORNE SOLICITORS CONVICTION .ON THEFT CHARGES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Sept. 24. The Court of Appeal this morning made an order striking Robert George Gardiner Bain off the rolls of prac' tising barristers and solicitors of the Dominion. Counsel for the New Zealand Law Society, Mr. Free, said that Bain formerly practised at Gisborne, but hr»d recently been convicted of numerous charges of theft from various clients and at z present was serving a term of reformative detention for twelve months. The amount involved in these charges was £271 13s 6d. An order was made for the payment of 15 guineas costs to the Law Society.
