INTRUDER DISTURBED
CASH MISSING FROM HOUSE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Blenheim, Sept. 24. A sum of £4 in cash and a gold ring were missing after an intruder had been disturbed in the homestead of F. E. Fairweather on the New Renwick Road. A visitor at the homestead heard someone moving about in the kitchen and upon his going to investigate a man bolted outside and disappeared in a plantation. A further development is expected as it is believed that the thiet was recognised.
