CHARGE OF BOOKMAKING
DANNEVIRKE MAN ARRESTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dannevirke, Night. Shortly after the Dannevirke Hunt Club races commenced to-day the police raided the premises of Frederick Slater in High Street, and later he was < barged with using the premises as a common gaming house, and with carrying on the occupation of a bookmaker. The hearing of both charges was fixed for September 8, Slater being granted bail in his own cognisance of £lOO, and one surely of £l5O.
