LEARNED WAR HAD ENDED
GERMANS ESCAPE. FBOM SIBERIA. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 5.5 p.m. Berlin, August 27. Taken prisoners by the Russians in 1915 and exiled to distant Siberia, three Germans named Kutz, Mischolski and Midralskki, learned accidentally a year ago that the Great War had ended, so they escaped and set out to trudge to the Fatherland. The three men suffered terrible privations, under which Midralski died. The others reached Breslau. They state there are still many Germans prisoners in Siberia.
