MAGISTRATE’S COURT
JUDGMENT IN €I\IL CASES. Judgment by default was given by Mr. R. W. Tate, S.M., in the following undefended civil cases at the New Plymouth Magistrate’s Court yesterday: — 1 P. F. Burrows, Ltd., v. John Hamilton, £2B 3s Id (costs £4 Is 6d); Dominion Motors, Ltd., v.’ the separate estate of Mrs. D. F. V. McKenzie, £44 12s Id (£4 Is 6d); Boon Bros., Ltd., v. L. Cavanagh, £4 5s (£1 3s Cdj ; Dunbar’s Cash. Stores v. W. Flynn, £1 Ils 8d (8s); H. C. Moss v. Jerry Paoara, £7 19s 8d (£1 17s Cd); Grundy’s Motors v. D. C. and L. S. Candish, £6 10s (£2 3s 6d). Under -judgment summons proceedings W. R. Hurley was ordered to pay J. B. Mac Ewan and Co. Ltd., £39 14s 2d (atfsts 31s Gd) forthwith, in default 30 days’ imprisonment. A. E. Nisbet was ordered to pay J. J. Gyde £8 2s 6d at the rate of £1 per month.
