TAX EQUALLY DIVIDED
OIL COMPANIES’ DECISION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The main importing companies of bulk motor spirit have decided that the prices of the brands of motor spirit imported by the Shell, Vacuum, Atlantic Union, Texas and Big Tree companies in all grades shall be reduced by Id per gallon, both on bulk and case lots, as from to-morrow. This means that these oil companies are absorbing Id per gallon of the taxation and' that the motorist will 1 only ' be charged an additional Id. e _. 7 .
