BUSINESS OF PARLIAMENT
NEW-MEASURES SUBMITTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Notice was given in the House of Representatives to-day of intention to introduce the following Bills: The Life Insurance Agents Bill (Mr, W. E. Barnard), the Napier Harbour Board Loans Enabling Bill (Mr. Barnard); the Stock Amendment Bill (the Hon. A. J. Murdoch). The Hawke’s Bay County Empowering Bill (Mr. H. M. Campbell) was reported from the Local Bills Committee with amendments. The game committee, reporting on’ the Wellington City Milk Supply Amendment Bill, recommended that it should not be allowed to proceed. The Law Practitioners Amendment Bill (the Hon. H. Atmore) and the New Zealand University Amendment Bill (Mr. Atmore) were read a second time pro forma and referred to the Statutes Revision Committee. Replying to Mi. G. C. Black, Mr. Atmore said he had no objection to the latter Bill being referred subsequently to the Education Committee. The Judicature,' Ainendme’ht Bill was read a second time and referred to the Statutes Revision Committee. The House, rose at 10.30 p.m.
