AWARD FOR TRAMWAYMEN
ACIRBEMEXT AT CHRISTCHURCH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Conciliation Council proceedings oetween the Christchurch Tramways Board and the Tramway Employees’ Union ended to-day in an agreement. Both sides made concessions and agreed to embody the agreement in a new award with a currency of five months. The agreement wag an almost complete endorsement of the present award with one concession to the union in respect to the meal hour relief.
