The biggest arsenal of gangsters’ weapons ever seen in New York was discovered when detectives trailed and detained a fashionable sedan car driven by the wife of a certain notorious criminal. ' There were enough bombs in the car to destroy the whole of Broadway, and wliiit’ looked like harmless fountain pens were actually pistols discharging .22 calibre bullets. There were also found hhnd grehadbs, steel vests, iriatliine-guns and other war material. Three men were arrested, but the car owner himself sailed for Ireland recently.
