MEN ALLEGE VICTIMISATIONBy Telegraph.—Press Association. Westport, Last Night. As the result of a stop-work meeting held by the Millerton Miners’ Union yesterday in connection with the dismissal of an employee, which members claim to be a ca.se of victimisation the colliery will remain idle until such time to the matter is satisfactorily adjustFour men ceased work as . a protest ao-ainst the alleged unfair distribution of overtime. Three of the party were reinstated after interviewing the manager, but the fourth was refused mnFoyment and this decision precipitated the trouble. It is understood that, the West Coast Miners’ Council will be asked to deal with the matter in the near future.
