MAN WHO LOST £BOO ON SHIP. By Telearaph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, Aug. 22. 11. Ballantyne was found dead in the bathroom of a city residential flat with his throat cut. A message of August 19 said that H Ballantyne, a third-class passenger - on the Maunganui, reported the loss of £BOO during the voyage between Wellington and Sydney. Detectives boarded the vessel immediately she entered the harbour and questioned two men, who have been detained. Ballantyne is a quarryman of the Napier district, New Zealand.
