COURT AT NEW PLYMOUTH
FINES FOR TRAFFIC BREACHES.
Mr. R; W. Tate, S.M., presided at the Police Court in New Plymouth yesterday. Francis William Yeates was fined. 20s and.costs 10s for.riding a cycle at night without a light. Reginald Baker was fined 20s and costs 10s for having left his car in Devon Street on July 20 without having number plates attached. Constable Shirley said that when accosted Baker said the probability was that he was .the victim of a joke. When he last looked at his car the plates wore attached with cord. The ear was registered. He promised to investigate when he returned to his home in Waitara.
