LADIES’ GOLF ACTIVITIES
NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB MATCHES. The New Plymouth Ladies’ Golf Club played an L.G.U. match yesterday. The weather was perfect, but the course was very heavy. In the junior division Miss M. Thompson reduced her handicap by two strokes to 30. Details are:— Senior. Miss Horner, 91 —45 —76. Miss Smart, 95—17—78. Miss Gavin, 94 —14 —80. Mrs. Curtis, 93—11 —82, Mrs. Russell, 90—9—81. Juniors. Miss Thompson, 104—32 —72. Mrs. Mander, 106 —25 —81. Mrs. McQuade, 100 —19—81. The match to have been played at Inglewood ’ to-day • has been postponed until August 22. Next week’b match will be a Canadian drive* foursome, .
