DARING ROBBERY IN SYDNEY. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, August 11,. There was a daring hold-up in. the rnburbs of Newtown to-day. Two masked bandits jumped on a crowded bus about midnight and, at the revolver point, bailed up the driver and conductor, at the same time ordering the passengers to keep their seats. The driver, J. Rowe, was commanded not to stop the vehicle. The conductor, Edward Burns, was forced to relinquish his bag, which contained about £l5. Meantime the passengers were in a state of panic and two women fainted. While the bus was still in motion, the robbers leaped clear and got away.
