BUTTER USED AT ELECTION
IMPORTATION FROM NEW ZEALAND REPORT FROAI INVESTIGATORS. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright., Vancouver, Aug. 7. The Liberal election managers’ investigation reports that New Zealand butter importations were used in the farming sections to influence the vote in favour of the victorious Conservatives. Its reports alleged that" the Conservative election organisers, in conjunction with Conservative wholesalers, imported large supplies, dumping them in agricultural sections at greatly reduced prices just before the election, the losses being made up from the campaign fund.
