RESTRICTED IMMIGRATION
PRESENT POLICY TO CONTINUE. (By Wire - Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, Last Night. The number of arrivals in the Dominion from the United Kingdom and Ireland during the past year was 3369, 1763 males and 1606 females, including 1790 assisted by the New Zealand and Imperial Governments under the restricted immigration scheme. The restricted policy is to remain in force until such time as there is an improvement in tho present situation.
