SIXIT-SIXE BABIES OX BOOKS. The monthly meeting of the Waitara Blanket 'Society was held on Tuesday. Mrs. Wells (secretary) welcomed Mrs. L. J. Rattenbury to the committee. The nurse’s report waft as follow’s: — Number of babies on the books, 69; visits paid to homes, 49; visits paid to office, adults 47, babies-34, older children 18; advice on hygiene, 10; older children still'under supervision, 42. It was originally decided to appeal for funds during August, but owing to so many appeals lately, the matter- will receive attention during October.
