STEAMER CUT IN HALVES
HALF SINKS WITH FOUR OF CREW By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Copenhagen, Aug. 5. The American steamer Chickasaw collided with the Swedish steamer Pemern, cutting her clean in halves. The fore part sank with four of the f crew. The after part floated and was taken in tow by a salvage steamer.
