OLD COUPLE KNOCKED DOWN
THEIR CONDITION SERIOUS.
' By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Aug. 6. Mr. George Knight, aged 82, who, when he retired last year, was “father” of the Auckland City Council, and his wife were knocked down by a motorvan when crossing a . road last night. Both were taken to hospital in a serious condition.
