BAND UNIFORM FUND.
REVUE TO BE PRODUCED. The decision was made at a fairly well attended meeting at Hawera on Monday evening to stage a musical revue In Hawera in order to assist in raising funds for the Hawera Municipal Band’s new uniforms. H. C. A. Fox was in the chair. It was decided to proceed with the production immediately, the first rehearsal to be held at the Savoy on Monday evening. Mrs. Macbeth will be the producer, Mr. Fox the musical director and Miss Rodgers official accompanist. The following committee was appointed to act with those appointed by the band committee: Mesdames Shepherd and Rice, Miss Pearce and Mr. V. Powell.
