WHITELEY MUSIC SERVICE
COMMUNITY SINGING AFTERWARDS There was a large congregation at the monthly musical service in Whiteley Memorial Church, New Plymouth, last evening. The Rev. Clarence JSaton was the preacher, his subject being “A Powerful Incentive to Right Living.” Miss B. Coleman sang ‘(Nearer My God to Thee” (Carey) and Mr. Neil Roberts “Ono Sweetly Solemn Thought.” Thd choir rendered the anthem “Break Forth into Joy” (Barnby). - At the close of the service the con-, gregation adjourned. to Whiteley hall/ where a community sing was held, far-, ourite hymns being selected and greatly enjoyed by those present. Mr. Cleland and Miss Coleman sang solos. Refreshments were served at- the conclusion by tho young people of the church.
