The decision not to make public the document handed to the prison authorities y Arthur Thomas Munn shortly before tiis execution at Auckland on Tuesday was announced bv the Minister of .Justice. Mr. J. G. Cobbe. The statement reached the Minister yesterday, and he. perused the contents. “There was nothing worth reading in the sta-:m r nt. nnrl no run-nose would be served I<v its publication.” he said. The’ Minister added that no confession had been made. It way indicated earlier bv the Con-trn’ler-Cenoral of Prisons, Mr. R. L.
