Police and detectives gathered 20 into a patrol van at the precise moment the demonstration was about to commence. It was one of the swiftest and most effective raids on record. An Adelaide message says there was a serious Communist disturbance in front of the Treasury building to-day. The police charged with batons but the Communists fought the police with pieces of wood. A number of Communists were injured and two were arrested.
