RELIEF WORKERS STRIKE
CHANCES OF EMPLOYMENT LOST. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 8.30 p.m. Sydney, July 24. Hundreds of relief workers who struck yesterday turned up to-day and were told there was nothing for them and that they were unlikely to be called up again when works were restarted on Monday. The men were very dejected and returned to the trades hall where they violently attacked the Government.
