WORK' IN INTERESTS OF PEACE. ;; By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. ! ; London, July. 22. . ; Mr. Ramsay MacDonald, addressing inter-Pafliamentary representatives, said • that in the interests -of peace and economy inter-Parliamentary contacts should be more efficient.. International understandings were retarded by nations negotiating on the assumption that .the worst would, happen. The world must not merely "pass peace resolutions •—it must given attention to great programmes of social well-being. Those Parliamentarians of any nation tolerating low ,standards of living were enemies, not only to their own nation, but also to all’ other social legislation. . More and more , were international ■ ists, and the effort of all should fall in line therewith.
