FRUITLESS SEARCH FOR HOOK

MAY HAVE BEEN LOST IN FLOOD. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rangoon, July 22. Further careful search for Hook, the missing airman, has been unsuccessful. Both banks of the Balichaungi have been searched by a strong party, but no sign, either of Hook, or his clothes, which Matthews hung up, or a sign of broken branches. The party is satisfied that Hook is no longer on the banks of the Balichaungi. Other searchers examined the whole of the. neighbourhood within a 10 to 15 miles radius of the place where Hook is stated to have been left..
