WOMAN GAOLED FOR FRAUD
AUCKLAND COOK SEXTCXCEIX By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, July 22. Mary Hodson, aged 42, a cook, was sentenced to eight months’ imprisonment for obtaining LI 17s 6d from various people by false pretences. It was stated that she had put a number of dentists to much trouble in making impressions of her teeth. At one place she told a tale of losing a bag and borrowed £l. She obtained other sums by other false representations.
