EUCHRE AND DANCE. A euchre party, and dance was held in th© Ohangai hall on Friday, and although it was a wet night there was a good crowd present. Euchre was played until' 10.15 and after supper dancing was enjoyed till midnight. Fourteen games of euchre were played the winners being Aliss'-F. Elmes and Mr. R. Hartley, after a play-off with Mr. S. Savage. The consolation prizes went to Miss G. Savage and Mr. J. Patehell. Music was supplied for the dancing by Miss G. Savage, Airs. H. Frahm, Mr. P. McDonald and Mr. J, Hinga, while the duties of M.C. were carried out by Mr. G. Cunningham. The Ohangai football team has been training hard in preparation for the match against City this week to decide the holders of the Wednesday Shield.
