Kingsford Smith has been approached by the Eastern Company, which is constructing an experimental ’plane, regarding the Oakland-Tokio flight, which will not take place before June next. Kingsford Smith leaves en; route to the East on Wednesday. He hopes to leave London on August 15_ in a small English, plane on a projected 10 days’ flight to Sydney with six stops.
