NEW STOCK EXCHANGE RULE

The decision of the Stock Exchange to prevent forward selling of securities for an indefinite period in order to curb the activities of bears caused a little heart-burning to-day, but the anticipation of a distinct reaction was not realied. Industrials were fairly steady, but bank shares were a little easier.
