WRONG LABELS ON BUTTER
DOMINION PRODUCE ABROAD. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, June 19. The practice of some Canadian merchants in buying New Zealand butter in bulk and selling it under..other labels was discussed by the Auckland ’Chamber of Commerce. A leading firm of exporters said it had insisted on its butter being sold under its label. Another exporter said that if New Zealand attempted dictation in this matter it might alienate good customers. • The only goodwill New Zealand could hold was that of the first purchaser.
