WAITARA DRUIDS LODGE
INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS. The Clifton Lodge of Druids held its half-yearly meeting on Monday, visitors being present from all parts of the district, The installation of the newlyelected officers was carried out by District President Bro. 11. Broad. The officers elected were:—L. Byron, J.P.A.; M. Sampson, A.D.;‘ IL Ewens, V. G. Bird, secretary; V. Pennington, treasurer; R Butcher, guardian; G. Mellor and R. St. George, A.D.B.’s; W. Spurdie and W. Crow, V.A.B.’s; D. Purdie, lodge auditor D.P. Bro. R. Butcher was presented on behalf of the district with the insignia of his office and with a framed diploma. Bro. W. Crow was the recipient of a gold medal for his energy and enthusiasm in obtaining the most new members for the past year. P.D.P. Bro. T. Ewens, an executive member of the Taranaki Hospital Association, gave a resume of the association’s activities and spoke of the good feeling between the association and the Taranaki Hospital Board.
