Middlesex.—Enthoven and Duleepsinhji scored:a century each innings for their respective sides. Middlesex in the first innings made 327 (Enthoven'l24; .Tate took six-wickets for 92) and in the second lost seven for 284 and declared- (Enthoven' 115). Sussex in the first innings made 354 (Duleepsinhji not out 102). Sussex won on the first innings. Essex beat Worcester.—Worcester in the first innings made 332 (Nichol 102; Smith took six wickets for 86) and in the second 200 (Smith took six for 59). Essex in the first innings made 370 (Cutmore 180, Nichols 103) - and in the second lost two wickets for 95. .Ess.es won on the first innings. Derby beat Warwick—Derby in the . first innings made 448.
