VICE-REGAL VISIT
ALTERNA LIVE ARRANGEM EN TS. Their Excellencies, Lord and Lady Bledisloe, will arrive on a visit to New Plymouth by mail train this evening. They will be met by the Mayor and councillors at the station, and at 9 p.m. this evening a civic reception' will be tendered them in the Opera House. If the weather is wet to-morrow the programme as originally arranged will remain unaltered, with the exception of the items 10 a.m, to 11.55 a.m., for which the following will be substituted: — 10 a.m. —Gathering of primary and denominational schools at New Plymouth Opera House. Address by his Excellency. 10.35 a.m. —Leave for Boys’ High School. 10.40 a.m. of pupils of Boys’ High School and Girls’ High School. Address by his Excellency. 11.5 a.m. —Morning tea at Boys’ High School. 11.35. a.m. —If weather at all suitable, drive through Pukekura Park x via Gilbert Street gate, hut not to leave cars. If weather not suitable for the above, remain at High School. 11.55.—Leave for New Plymouth Savings Bank.
