UNITED STATES WHEAT CROP
SEASON’S PROSPECTS REVIEWED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.— Copyright. Washington, June 10. The Department of Agriculture estimates that the 1930 wheat crop will amount to 532,469,000 bushels, according to the crop conditions on June 1, or 71.7 per cent, of normal. The yield per acre for winter wheat is estimated at 13.8 bushels. The condition of. durum wheat, on June 1 was 86 per .cent, of normal and of all spring wheat was 85.7 per cent, of normal. The probable crop of hard red winter wheat is estimated at 325,000,000 bushels The report stated the spring had been generally favourable for the early crop planting. The dry conditions over much of the area from central Missouri eastward had not seriously harmed the crops iu that quarter-
