MAN FOUND DEAD AT LYELL
RUMOURS OF “ROW” IN HUT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Reef ton, June 10. A man named Donald McPherson, a labourer aged about 50, who had been working for the Public Works Department, was found dead in a hut at Lyell yesterday. The body was brought to Reef ton last night. It is rumoured that there was a “row” among a party and deceased struck the back of his head on a stone when falling. An inquest was opened this morning and after 'evidence of identification was adjourned sine die.
