RUGBY TEAM SUSPENDED
REFUSAL TO RESUME MATCH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Invercargill, Last Night. The Southland Rugby Union this evening decided, in the absence of a report from the referee, to suspend the Southern senior team, which refused to take the field after half-time on Saturday in a match with Pirates A. It is stated that the Southern team was dissatisfied with the refereeing.
