AUCKLAND CITY CHANGES
DISPOSAL OF STATION SITE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Juno 7. Important alterations in city streets will bo made under a plan drawn up by the Railway Department for disposal of the site of the present Auckland railway station, next to the post office. It is hoped that ultimately a through thoroughfare parallel with Queen Street will run from the waterfront to Wellesley Street, thus relieving the congestion in Queen Street.
