PREMATURE CHARITY
SOUP KITCHEN NOT NEEDED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. .. ’ Napier, Last Night. . The Mayor of Napier, Mr. ,J. Vigor Brown, states that as the result of personal'investigations, he is convinced that the opening of a soup kitchen by the Salvation Army is premature in view of the fact that the hospital board is doing all that is necessary ;in the way of charitable aid for needy unemployed, both local and itinerant.
