IMMUNITY FROM CANCER
HOPE IN NEW X-RAY SYSTEM INVESTIGATION IN LONDON ' £5OOO GRANTED FOR PLANT By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, June 5. A new method of X-ray treatment, which it is believed will render persons exempt from cancer, was revealed by Viscount Knutsford in the course _of a meeting of the governors of the London Hospital. He stated investigators were giving attention not only to the removal of cancerous growths, but also to the removal of the tendency, thus rendering a person immune. The treatment consisted of a special X-ray apparatus, giving rays of very short wave length, akin to radium itself. This could be applied to different parts of the body. The committee decided to spend £5OOO on the installation of the apparatus.
