Mrs. Muscio, an Australian delegate, addressing the International Women’s Council, emphasised Australia’s pride in standard wages for workers, and recommended the council to agitate for a high minimum wage everywhere. She claimed that Australia was ahead of the •world in legislation regarding the minimum wage.
